Direct from Dublin.
No Brexit customs. Irish plugs.
ÉireStop is an independent editorial catalog designed exclusively for consumers in the Republic of Ireland. We cut through the confusion of cross-border online shopping by verifying that every item we recommend is stored domestically and fulfilled through Amazon's logistics network in Ireland.
The Amazon Baldonnell Hub (DUB2)
Amazon's 630,000 sq ft domestic fulfilment centre in South Dublin
For years, Irish online shoppers ordering from Amazon endured substantial post-Brexit friction. Packages routed from depots across the Irish Sea frequently triggered unexpected customs delays at Dublin Port, additional courier handling charges from An Post, and uncertain delivery timelines stretching well over a week.
In the autumn of 2022, Amazon opened its flagship 630,000 square foot fulfilment centre at Baldonnell Business Park in South County Dublin—designated in global logistics as DUB2. This massive investment transformed Irish e-commerce by holding millions of items physically within the Republic of Ireland.
When your order is fulfilled directly from Baldonnell, your parcel travels entirely within the domestic transit network via Amazon Logistics and An Post. It never crosses an international border, never incurs customs inspections, and is eligible for rapid next-day delivery with Prime in most of the country.
Our Verification Criteria
The three essential standards every item must satisfy to appear on ÉireStop
Rather than listing millions of irrelevant products, our catalog is curated according to a simple rule: if a listing isn't sold and dispatched by Amazon.ie, or would arrive with an EU 2-pin plug or import charges, we don't list it. We don't run a test lab — our guides are based on manufacturer specifications, energy and running costs, warranty terms and recurring owner feedback, and we say so on every guide.
1. Dispatched by Amazon
Every product must be sold by Amazon or fulfilled through Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) with domestic dispatch routing. We deliberately exclude drop-shippers and overseas merchants who lack local Irish fulfillment capability.
- Domestic inventory prioritized
- Next-Day Prime IE eligible
- No drop-shipping delays
2. No Customs Charges
Because items ship domestically or within the EU single market boundary, you are fully shielded from post-Brexit customs declarations, An Post handling charges, and surprise import fee deposits at delivery.
- Zero unexpected An Post bills
- No Brexit import paperwork
- EU consumer rights protected
3. EUR Pricing & 3-Pin Plugs
All item prices are displayed in Euros (€) inclusive of Irish VAT (23%), eliminating bank foreign transaction surcharges. For electrical appliances, we verify genuine Irish 3-pin Type G plug compliance.
- Irish VAT fully calculated
- No bank exchange fee traps
- Irish 3-pin Type G certified
Affiliate Transparency Statement
How ÉireStop operates, earns revenue, and preserves editorial independence
ÉireStop is an independent affiliate publication. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through links on this site. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date and time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon.ie at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product.
How It Works For You
When you click one of our buttons to view a verified product on Amazon.ie and make a purchase, Amazon pays ÉireStop a small referral commission. This never increases the price you pay. You receive the identical price, warranty, and return policies offered on Amazon.ie.
Strict Editorial Independence
No brand, supplier, or distributor can buy placement on ÉireStop. We select items solely on their merits: verified dispatch from Amazon Ireland, positive user review histories, robust build quality, and clear value for households across Ireland.
Product prices, discounts, and inventory availability fluctuate frequently on Amazon. While our automated synchronization updates items routinely, the live price presented on Amazon.ie at the time of purchase is the final binding transaction price.
