Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 Wireless Earbuds – Noise Cancelling, Heart Rate Monitor, IPX4, Up to 45 Hours Battery, Wireless Charging Case (Electric Orange)

Our Verdict

The Powerbeats Pro 2 are the Beats answer to AirPods Pro for people who train, and the strongest option here if battery life is your main complaint about AirPods. Flexible ear hooks hold them in place on a hard run or a wet cycle, and Beats quotes up to 10 hours per charge and up to 45 hours in total with the case, with less when noise cancelling is on. They use the same Apple H2 chip family as AirPods, so on an iPhone you get one-touch pairing and Personalised Spatial Audio with head tracking, and there is an optical heart rate sensor that feeds Apple Health and supported fitness apps. Android users get pairing and controls through the Beats app. The trade-offs are size, a larger case than AirPods, IPX4 rather than IP57, and none of Apple’s hearing health features. Ear hooks can also crowd the arms of glasses. This listing is the Electric Orange finish; other colours are separate listings, so compare prices.
