Our Verdict

If you have a MagSafe iPhone, a magnetic power bank is the most convenient way to top up: it snaps onto the back and charges with no cable dangling from your pocket. Belkin’s BoostCharge Pro is WPC Qi2 certified, which means the magnets line up properly and it charges at up to 15W, faster than older generic magnetic banks limited to 7.5W. The pop-up kickstand is a genuinely useful extra for watching something on the train or propping the phone up on a table. A USB-C port adds up to 20W for a second device or a wired top-up. Two compromises: 8,000mAh is less than a wired 10,000mAh bank, and wireless charging wastes more energy as heat, so expect fewer full charges. Newer Qi2.2 accessories can charge recent iPhones faster wirelessly.

Key Features & Irish Specs
