Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 Dual Pack: 2 Sonic Electric Toothbrushes with App, Charging Glass and Stand (Black & Rose Gold, HX9914/57)

Our Verdict

This is the same DiamondClean 9000 in a pack of two, aimed at couples who would otherwise buy two premium brushes or share one handle. You get two handles in different colours, so there is no mixing them up, two C3 Premium Plaque Defence heads, one charging glass and one charging stand, so both can charge at the same time. Each handle has the four modes (Clean, White+, Gum Health and Deep Clean+), three intensities, a pressure sensor that pulses the handle, SmarTimer and QuadPacer, and connects to the Philips Sonicare app for coaching and progress reports. Philips quotes up to two weeks per charge with twice-daily brushing. Unusually, the listing states the plug: a UK two-pin bathroom plug for a shaver socket, so you will need a shaver adaptor if your bathroom has no shaver point. Remember that two people means eight premium heads a year, which costs more than the heads for most cheaper brushes.
