Independent Editorial Assessment

Our Verdict

A compact, sensibly priced case for a console that leaves the house in a school bag, a carry-on or the back of the car. It is shaped for the Switch 2, which is bigger than the original, so older Switch cases are not a safe substitute. The velvet lining protects the screen from scratches, the polyester outer resists scuffs and Irish showers, and there are slots for 10 game cards. The hidden AirTag pocket is a nice touch for flights and school trips, though the AirTag itself is extra and needs an iPhone. Belkin does not list space for the charger or spare controllers, so carry those separately.
