Oral-B Pro Kids Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush for Ages 3+, Disney Frozen, Extra-Soft Head, 2 Modes & 4 Stickers

Our Verdict

The Pro Kids is the low-cost way to move a child of three or older onto an electric toothbrush. The small round head has extra-soft bristles, there are two modes (Daily Clean and a gentler Sensitive Plus), and the built-in timer runs for two minutes and pauses every 30 seconds so they know when to move on. Four Frozen stickers let them make the handle their own, and Oral-B’s free Disney Magic Timer app turns the two minutes into a game on a phone or tablet; it does not connect to the brush, so it works without Bluetooth. Running costs are low because it takes Oral-B’s standard kids’ heads, which are among the cheapest genuine heads you can buy, and it uses the same fitting as Oral-B’s non-iO adult heads. Two things to know. Owner feedback on battery life is often poor, so plan on keeping it on its charger. And no pressure sensor is listed, so supervise young children while they brush. The charger has a two-pin shaver-socket plug; the listing does not say whether it is the UK or European type, so make sure your shaver socket or adaptor accepts both.
