The hot-air brush that started the trend, and still one of the easiest ways to get a smooth, bouncy blow-dry at home. You use it like a round brush: take a section, roll it from roots to ends, and it dries and smooths at the same time, which takes far less practice than juggling a dryer and a round brush. Revlon says the ionic technology reduces frizz and static, and the ceramic-coated barrel spreads the heat evenly. This version is designed for mid-length to long hair, so on a short cut a smaller brush or a dryer with a concentrator is easier to handle. On very thick hair, rough-drying with a normal dryer first saves time. It smooths rather than defines, so it is the wrong tool if you want to keep natural curls. The RVDR5222UK model code is the UK/Ireland version with a 3-pin plug.
